Teaching Assistant Support Roles (Primary with Special Needs) – AAAD5027 – Temporary – 25/30 hours per week – Grade: Grade 4 - £18,933 to £19,698 pro rata, per annum – Primary Schools – Elworth CE Primary School

The Head Teacher and Governors of Elworth CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a number of experienced and confident Teaching Assistants to join our teaching support team from September 2021.  We are looking for people with energy and enthusiasm who will fit in with the caring ethos of our school.

The positions available are to support children with special educational needs within KS1.  The positions are initially temporary with the possibility of being permanent (subject to review of staffing restructure in 2022).  We are seeking people who are passionate about their role and committed to helping children achieve their potential.  In particular, the successful candidates will need to be people who are confident and who have a good understanding of Speech, Language and Social Communication needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues.  The successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate initiative, creativity to adapt tasks to suit the individual needs of the child(ren) and excellent behaviour management strategies.

Elworth CE Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and young people, therefore all post holders are subject to an appropriate vetting procedure.  Appointment is subject to the completion of pre-employment checks which will include References (which will be taken up prior to interview), Health, Right to work in the UK, DBS and a Declaration with regard to the Disqualification by Association Regulations
