PE Sports Premium Funding

Please refer to the documents below to find information about this year's Sports premium funding allocation as well as how our PE premium budget was spent last academic year.

PE Kit

For your reference, our whole school PE kit is listed below:

Please note that Elworth CE Primary School operate a 'no jewellery' policy for all PE activities and swimming sessions.

PE – (Dance/Gymnastics/Indoor Activities):

White t- shirt, Blue or black shorts, Trainers

Games – Outdoor Activities (Winter)

White t- shirt, Blue or black tracksuit, Trainers

It is essential that all children wear trainers rather than pumps and please ensure your child wears a tracksuit for outdoor activities - this is especially important as the weather deteriorates in Winter.  An extra pair of socks are also a good idea, especially for any girls wearing tights!

Swimming

We are so fortunate to have our own pool here at Elworth which is utilised from Easter to October half term.

Swimming Kit Information

Just to remind you that our guidelines for swimming attire are: swimming trunks for boys (no long shorts) and a swimming costume for girls (no bikinis).  Swimming goggles should only be worn if you feel the chemicals in the pool adversely affect your child’s eyes.  Please be aware that although your child is allowed to wear goggles whilst swimming they may be asked to remove them if they pose a health and safety risk.

Please note that if you wish your child to wear swimming goggles then please download, read and complete the Swimming Goggles Permsission Letter below

Attached is the swimming timetable for when our lovely pool opens after Easter.  We will be starting swimming lessons on Monday 24th April.

We always need volunteer helpers especially with the little ones, but also with the older children as help tends to tail off in KS2.  So if you feel able to help with your child's class and/or any other class "Your School Needs You".  All our volunteers have a DBS check so if you would like to help and have not acquired a DBS check please see Mrs Felton or Mrs Haworth for a form as soon as possible.

We would like to invite all helpers - previous and new - to an induction on Tuesday 18th April at 2:00 pm.
